There ain’t no way that we can pay you back Tupac, but the plan is to show you that we understand. You are appreciated!

A pop-up restaurant inspired by the hip-hop legend is set to open on the LES this weekend.

Sweet Chick, a southern restaurant, will be transformed into "Powamekka Cafe" 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Friday, April 7th, and 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, April 8th and 9th.

They'll be serving up all of Pac's favorites including meatloaf, gumbo, and “his cousin Jamala’s fried chicken wings”. The menu is based on sketches and ideas Tupac wrote down before his death for a restaurant.

The name for the pop-up comes from Makaveli himself.

In addition to enjoying his favorite foods, fans will be able to take a look at memorabilia, including a collection of the artist’s childhood photos, his poetry, and items from his favorite artists.

You can find Sweet Chick at 178 Ludlow Street.

Don't just plan on showing up and finding a seat though. When a similar tribute cafe popped up in California last year, according to Eater NY, people waited up to 3 hours and the food actually ran out.
