Drunken Dumpling, just by the name, sounds like somewhere we would haunt with enthusiasm.

This newly opened mother-son duo's dumpling haven, seems pretty standard, with an 11-item menu featuring classics like xiao long bao, jiaozi, and steamed buns.

We were wrong.

We literally cannot believe we are looking at this giant soup dumpling, the XL Xiao Long Bao, which is really like an XXXL Xiao Long Bao, because it is as large as the bowl it is served in.

The XLB, which goes for $12.75, according to Gothamist, is "stuffed with a meatball of crab, scallop, and shrimp suspended in an 8-hour broth made from chicken and vegetables."

Mastering eating normal soup dumplings is a whole other thing that is literally rendered irrelevant in this situation– we don't know the proper technique for consuming this behemoth soup dumpling but it is served with a straw, if that's any indication.

Drunken Dumpling serves non- Godzilla variety dumplings as well, including crab and pork soup dumplings, as well as chicken, shrimp, and vegetable non-soup dumplings.

This place is def worth the visit, if not to ogle the big ass side-show that is the X(XX)L Xiao Long Bao for their Red Bean Buns with honey and red bean paste. We're also down to grab some sake, a glass of wine, or beer– they serve the local variety and options from Asia.

If you're not ready to tackle the XLB mountain, we know you still just really want dumplings rn, so here you go. These bad boys won't be available at Dumpling Fest 2016 either, but we'll probably still go anyway.
