As basketball season draws near, preseason games are popping up every weekend. The showdown at the Garden between the two New York teams is the ideal place to be for every sports fan.

If you’re from New York then you probably know the Impractical Jokers. Filming their season finale in front of a live studio audience, just being there is a New York experience.

New York has interesting people, and those people make interesting things. The NYC Handmade Bazaar is a whole market to just enjoy the creativity of your fellow New Yorkers.
Pickle Day (Orchard St, Lower Manhattan @ 12 PM)
Pickle merch, pickling contests, and just pickles–if you’re a fan of these briny snacks then you’re in for a treat. Located in the historic Lower East Side, the festival reminds us of a time when small snacks on push-carts were definitive New York.
Bay Ridge 3rd Avenue Festival (7509 3rd Ave, Brooklyn @ 11:30 AM)
Hosted in Brooklyn for the sake of Brooklyn, this Bay Ridge festival probably has what you’re looking for. With plenty of bars and restaurants on the avenue, the party can go on all day!
