Summer is the season where we take everything we normally like to do and put it outside, because, warmth.
Northside Media just announced the line-up of cult-classic films for their 12th season of SummerScreen: bringing free movies and music to Williamsburg's McCarren Park.
This year you can enjoy Mean Girls, Office Space, Donnie Darko, Selena, and I Know What You Did Last Summer, Wednesday nights, July thru August.
The final screening of the summer on August 9th, will be an Audience Pick, and you can vote between Beetlejuice, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Now and Then, Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion, She's All That, and Twister.
Beginning July 5th, SummerScreen is free every Wednesday night, with doors opening at 6pm, music at 7pm, and movie at sundown.
The bands haven't been announced yet, so stay tuned. Also not yet announced, but sure to be dope, are the list of food trucks and other local food and drink vendors that will be in attendance.

Obviously we recommend getting there early, because this event gets packed, and bring a pillow because otherwise you'll be parking your tush on bare pavement. That is so not fetch.
Remember: On Wednesday's we wear pink.
