Did You Hear About the Woman Blown Off a Washington Heights Rooftop While Urinating in the Wind? | spoiled NYC

A young woman was blown off the roof of a Washington Heights building while urinating this past Wednesday morning, according to the NYPD.

The 19-year-old woman was drunk when the gust of wind caused her to topple off of the 179th Street building's roof around 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, DNAinfo reported.

The woman, who was not identified, reportedly fell two stories and was in critical condition at a Harlem hospital.

She had been drinking alcohol before the incident and was on the roof with a 21-year-old man.

It's the second recent incident in the New York area where a person has been blown from a rooftop. Earlier this week, police in New Jersey were investigating after strong winds appeared to play a part in the death of a Teaneck building manager's death.

In that incident, the man fell seven stories.

Strong winds were expected to continue through this weekend, with gusts as high as 34 mph through Thursday night.
