What's that you say? You've been lost 40 years in search of something sweet and something boozy. There's a niche market for that, I'm sure.  Hang on just a second.

There's a new liquored ice cream store in town. Well, well. Your exodus is over, friend.

Kips Bay residents, wander no longer— the dream of ice cream steeped in bourbon, coffee liqueurs, and more, is finally here.

The name's Tipsy Scoop, the delicious progeny of one Melissa Tavss, who's been infusing her own ice creams and sorbets with liquor for quite some time.

Tavss' East Harlem factory, in operation since 2012, is going to find sweet release for its wares soon in the Kips Bay retail space.

The menu will offer fifteen mixed flavors, from Spiked Hazelnut Coffee (coffee ice cream infused with hazelnut and Patron XO Cafe liqueurs) to Maple Bacon Bourbon (maple ice cream churned with real bacon and laced with bourbon).

Expectedly reserved for those 21-and-over, the cool vibes at 217 East 21st Street, where the shop will open this coming spring, will include four-flavor ice cream flights, ice cream cakes, and ice cream sandwiches.

We've yet to get an opening date, but stay tuned! More details are sure to come, and we can't wait!
