The Edge LIC welcomed industry insiders to its official opening this month on a crisp autumn evening in Long Island City, just minutes from Manhattan where they offered a first look at what’s poised to become one of New York’s most dynamic new event venues.

Ahead of its opening on November 1st, the multi-level space welcomed an exclusive guest list of event-industry professionals, vendors, and tastemakers for a night of networking, immersive activations, and hospitality showcases. Designed for fully customizable experiences, The Edge LIC’s modern layout provided the ideal backdrop for the evening’s interactive walkthrough. Guests explored the venue’s distinctive zones, the sweeping open-air rooftop with panoramic skyline views, a chic two-story studio, a private outdoor courtyard, and a 20th-floor penthouse boardroom suite, each styled to highlight its flexibility. 

From elegantly set tablescapes to a sleek product launch installation, every scene underscored the venue’s ability to adapt to any occasion. The vendor lineup reflected The Edge LIC’s emphasis on elevated service and creative collaboration.

Together, they showcased the caliber of artistry and hospitality The Edge LIC aims to deliver. Participating partners included Dish Food & Events, Shaheen Catering, Bantry Bay Publick House, Winston Flowers, Ages Events & DJ Entertainment, Balloons to Go, NPA Parties, NU-Foto Booth, Applepix Pro, and NYC Cakes. Guests enjoyed a curated cocktail program and gourmet tasting stations by partner caterers, while live demonstrations illustrated how each space can transform from a seated wedding under the stars in the courtyard (capacity 225+) to a branded corporate event in the loft-style studio (capacity 80+).
