It's been a good winter in New York City, everyone. There was a lot of cheer, a lot of indulging in warm, gooey winter food, and one really giant snowstorm.

There was also, of course, the chance to ice skate for free at Bryant Park's Winter Village.

If you're kicking yourself because you never made it out to skate at Bryant Park's Winter Village this season, don't. You can still get there this weekend before the winter officially winds down.

Bryant Park's skating rink's last day is this coming Sunday, March 6th. The rink will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Now, if you tried to skate at the rink on, say, an evening December, the rink was probably very crowded. If you like skating fast, you probably had a hard time gaining the momentum you crave for fear of hitting someone.

Our best guess? We're thinking it's not going to be very crowded at the Bryant Park ice rink this weekend.

The tourists have come and gone, the people who moderately like ice skating have come and gone, and now the only ones remaining are the die-hard ice skaters... oh, and the people who forgot to ice skate this season.

Now, if you have your own ice skates and you don't have a bag to check, this rink truly is free.

If, however, you need to rent skates, try not to bring a bag you'll need a locker for. Try to pack light, because renting skates and checking a bag will set you back $25.

Don't worry about the ice melting. We know it was moderately warm in the beginning of the week, but it's supposed to be freezing cold this weekend.

So, it might not even feel like March while you're twirling laps around the rink, but you can definitely warm up with some alcoholic beverages at Celsius bar after you've gotten your skating in.

Ice skating isn't your scene? Well, don't worry. We have plenty of other suggestions for how you can have a great weekend in NYC right here.
