You may be familiar with Yung Hocho after his drama with Cardi B earlier this year. But he’s not here to mess around about nonsense in the DM’s, with the premiere of his first track the real Yung Hocho has made it clear, he’s here for the bag.
I had the pleasure of sitting down with rapper last week to discuss the city.
What’s your first New York Memory?
My first New York memory is when I went to see the Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center. The lights, the people, the size of the tree, it’s something you could never forget.
Where’s the first place you go on when you visit the city?
As soon as I touch down, I go sit down at Clyde Frazier’s Restaurant, the food is great and the vibe is chill.
Not Rays or Dollar Slice?
I actually don't have a favorite pizzeria, but there’s a really good one in SoHo right off Barrett Street and Sixth Av - it's really delicious.
Favorite neighborhood?
My favorite neighborhood when I come to New York is Harlem.
What does New York mean to you?
New York means is a culture that's hard-working, and a city that never sleeps. It's where the best of the best come to see who can really sit on top.
How do you spoil yourself?
I take myself to Garden State Plaza (mall) and buy whatever I want out of Neiman Marcus

Same answer as above, but then I'd drive into New York and go to the studio.
