Move over, Chick-fil-A, there's a new chicken sandwich in town.

No, we're not talking about the amazing spicy chicken sandwich at Fuku, we're talking about an entirely different bird altogether... well, not really, but you get the point.

Last week, Shake Shack revealed that they would be releasing their "ChickenShack" chicken sandwiches at all of their locations across the country.

Initially introduced as a limited-edition item, the ChickenShack was only available for guests of Shake Shack locations in Brooklyn.

The ChickenShack sandwich sold out within two days of its debut this summer, so we're pretty stoked that they've finally released the tasty beast to the rest of the nation.

The ChickenShack is a buttermilk-marinated chicken breast using a cooking method similar to sous vide, meaning, the breasts are slow cooked with buttermilk before being battered and deep fried during service.

The sandwich is served on a Martin's potato bun with herb mayo, lettuce, and pickles.

The chicken breasts used are made with cage-free, antibiotic and hormone free chickens which is certainly not the standard for fast food chicken.

Thankfully, Shake Shack has expanded their service of the ChickenShack right in time with the shut down of the L train, because how else would a majority of us get our chicken fix?

Not sure we're ready to trust Chick-fil-A again just yet...
