Did you hear about Storm Jonas from last weekend? Oh, you did? Are you getting tired of talking about it?
Well, sorry, we're not. Actually, we mostly just can't wait until the next time it snows. We're optimistic that the city will do a better job plowing in Queens and handling slush this time around.
Anyway, before we move on to the next storm (when will it be?) we need to take a look back in time, to last weekend, when a brave photographer donned her coat, grabbed his camera, and hit the streets.
We're talking about Michele Palazzo, who managed to capture the Flatiron Building standing against blustering winds and tons and tons of snow.
We're pretty sure if you subtracted the street cart, the "Sprint" sign on the Flatiron Building, and the Apple billboard in the distance, this picture could be a painting from any century.
It definitely illustrates the severity of the storm, at least.

Of course, it (pictured first, below) isn't the only picture Palazzo captured of the storm. He snagged a struggle with a snowblower, another excellent shot of the Flatiron building from a further distance, and New Yorkers staggering in the winds from the storm.

We're most stunned by the pictures Palazzo captured after the storm, when the more than two feet of snow is settled in a blanket over the city, and it gleams in the street lights at night.
Palazzo, we want to ask you to hit the streets with your camera during the next storm, too, but didn't you get cold?
