Fo' Free?! 'Hamilton' Is Coming to PBS This October!

We never thought we'd see the day when the words "watch," "Hamilton," and "free" were in the same sentence.

And this time, it isn't a cruel, cruel joke.

For those of us average New Yorkers who can't dish out a quick grand to see Hamilton, there's finally hope.

Lin-Manuel Miranda has been teasing Hamilfans that there would be a way for everyone to get to see him as leading man Alexander Hamilton before his departure from the show on July 9th.

Miranda later announced that PBS will be filming and broadcasting an entire live performance of Hamilton, starring Miranda, and will be broadcast on October 17th.

Hamilton will be featured in an ongoing PBS series, "Great Performances." However, it is still unclear whether just a segment of Hamilton will be featured, or the entirety of the show.

Needless to say, fans of the hit show practically burst through the roof with excitement at the possibility of finally being able to see the show that practically swept the Tonys live - well, sort of live...

For those who still want to see Hamilton live, there's still a chance that you can snag a lottery ticket now that the total available lottery tickets will soon be doubling to 46.

Just like our country, we're young, scrappy, and hungry, so we're definitely taking up this awesome opportunity to soak in the glory that is Hamilton.
