So, the snowpocalypse happened.
You guys...you ok? Shoveled out your cars and walkways, no school or work? Awesome, great. Stay at home and watch Netflix.
But, what if we told you you can earn some more money instead of losing a payday?
And the City Department of Sanitation will be paying you? Got your attention didn't we?
It does have a catch though: You gotta go back outside.
Sanitation commissioner Kathryn Garcia has called for emergency snow laborers to shovel snow! So in a way you get to be a hero... a hero the city needs, but not one it necessarily deserves.
The city needs YOU to shovel snow!

All you gotta do is register with the city as a "snow laborer" at one of these sanitation garages in your borough, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m at the below locations:
Flatbush Yard, 2900 Flatbush Ave. (at Floyd Bennett Field), Marine Park
Bronx Yard, Mosholu Avenue and Broadway (at Van Cortlandt Park), Riverdale
Kew Loop Yard, 78-88 Park Drive East, Flushing
Harper Street Yard, 32-11 Harper St., Flushing
The program pays $15 an hour for the first 40 hours of work. It pays laborers $22.25 per hour after they work 40 hours in one week.
According to DNAInfo, you'll need to be at least 18-years-old, eligible to work in the U.S., and, of Also, you gotta bring two passport-sized photos (1.5 by 1.5 inches), your social security card, and two other forms of identification, the originals and copies.
