We love the museums in New York City.
It goes without even mentioning that the AC haven they provide makes the current heat wave much more enjoyable.
NYC museums have plenty of options for those of us who don’t want to break the bank to get a little cultured, including First Fridays and late hours for free admission.
But Museum Day Live! is by far the best time to take advantage of NYC’s museums.
Smithsonian Magazine is hosting Museum Day Live! on Saturday, September 24, when hundreds of museums will open their doors to the public, completely free of charge!
HOORAY! FREE SH*T!
This event is hosted in celebration of of all the beautifully curated exhibits in the country, so take advantage of the opportunity to see those exhibits for yourself!
