Feeling a little nostalgic? Longing to see NYC before f*cking Giuliani got his hands on it?

We got you covered.

YouTuber Techmoan found some HD footage from 1993 that was used as part of a promotional campaign for something called DTheater.

If you’re making jokes, now’s the time. DVHS was kind of the precursor to Blu-Ray and DVDHD, only on (you guessed it) VHS.

The full video (for all you VHS lovers) is here.

Time Out shared the video, and of course it’s got some giggle-inducing stuff.

It’s the ‘90s, for pete’s sake! The ‘90s is kind of the de facto decade to mock, and the ‘70s is heaving a huge sigh of relief right now.

We hope you enjoy spotting some great hairdos (more like ‘haridon’ts’, amirite?) in this footage of Times Square, Central Park, the WTC, and even the Staten Island Ferry.

We'll let you enjoy the hilarity that is the soundtrack without any hype.
