November is a very special month of the year. Getting so close to the end, yet there is still so much to do! Let’s get to celebrating and take a look at some of the events you can do this month!
November 4th
NYC Marathon (Staten Island - Central Park, NY @ 9:50 AM)
Dedicated athletes have spent all year training for this moment to run in the 26.2-mile course through every borough in New York City.
Starting from Staten Island on the west end of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge, through Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, The Bronx, and then back to Central Park Manhattan, the marathon really pushes people to their limit.
Come run in the event or come cheer and support for the runners, because this event is not something to miss out on.
November 9th (361 Metropolitan Ave @ 11:30 PM)
Take Me Out - 2000s Disco Punk Nite
Go crazy at this one-night event that will have you dancing all night long! The Knitting Factory never disappoints, and there is sure to be a huge turnout for this event so get your tickets before it sells out!
Tickets are free before midnight with RSVP for 21+, otherwise, tickets can be reserved and purchased here.
November 10th (Port Morris Distillery, 780 East 133 St, Bronx @ 7 PM)
It’s the launch of the first Bronx vodka and we are stoked to get a taste of it. The free event comes with cocktails, live music, and raffles, you don’t want to miss this celebration!
November 14-18th (446 Broadway Manhattan)
Daily Harvest Refueling Station
The weeklong pop-up shop opens in NYC to give people free samples of daily Harvest recipes and products! Daily Harvest is an online meal delivery service with chef-prepared, organic, plant-based food that will have its first IRL interactive event.
Recipes and samples will be handed out through picturesque retro-chic gas station pumps.
The event will give a walk-through of its ingredient sourcing process and a chance to win products with faux scratch tickets.
November 16-17th

REALLY SEXY VARIETY PARTY!!
It’s got the chill factor of going to your favorite neighborhood bar, the intimacy of seeing an underground comedy show, and the chic vibe of going to a bougie event that makes you feel cooler than you are. This show will provide entertainment in many forms.
Come out and enjoy a night full of talent and dinner!
November 17th
PetCon NYC (Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, 655 West 34th St @ 9AM)
Meet your favorite celebrity pets!!!
This event will be filled with the most adorable pups you have ever seen! There will be meet and greets, adoption gardens for people to play with adoptable dogs, and plenty of photo opportunities.
Bring your own pets along too for an extra fun time.
November 17th
Rooftop Silent DIsco Yoga (McCarren Hotel and Pool, 160 North 12th St, Brooklyn @ 2 PM)
Align your chakras with this heated and enclosed rooftop yoga experience! You’ll grab a pair of headphones and go into your own disco world while also practicing different movements and breathing patterns.
Highly recommend trying this out.
November 18th
Brooklyn Chocolate Festival (Aviator Sports and Event Center, 3159 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn @ 10 AM)
Love all things chocolate?
Enjoy free samples from over 50 chocolate exhibits, or even buy some of these delicious treats like chocolate covered bacon, vegan chocolate, sweet and salty chocolate pickles, chocolate staples brownies and cookies.
There will be music and dancing, and for those with a sweet tooth, a chocolate eating contest.
November 22nd
Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade (34th Street Macy’s Herald Square, Manhattan @ 9 AM)
It’s that time of year again, from beautiful floats to Broadway musical performances, the 92nd annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will kick off the holiday spirit the right way.
Spend Thanksgiving morning watching your favorite characters fly by like Spongebob, Snoopy, Hello Kitty and all the rest.
November 28th
Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting (30 Rockefeller Plaza Manhattan @ 7 PM)
One of the biggest staples to an NYC Christmas is this event!
Show up early to secure a great spot to see the 72 feet tall tree illuminate for the first time because there will be a lot of people including NBC live broadcasting the event ( you might even get a chance to be on TV!)
There will be live performances singing your favorite holiday songs to get you ready for the storm that is Christmas.
November 30th
The Great Gatsby Party (Capitale, 130 Bowery, Manhattan @ 9 PM)
Get into the fashion of the Roarin’ Twenties and enjoy a night with a number of entertainment scheduled throughout the night, including swinging aerialists, contortionists, live bands, stilt walkers, showgirls, and enough champagne to twirl the night away.
Inspired by Fitzgerald’s novel, this event is sure to give your senses the ultimate high.
My Chemical Slow Dance (Saint Vitus Bar, 1120 Manhattan Avenue Brooklyn @ 11 PM)
Oh prom, a time for enjoying an elegant night and formal attire with all of your friends. People dream of this moment for so long, except this one is with a bit of a twist.
Put on your best suit, a beautiful dress, or a combination of both to this night out event and dance away to emo and pop-punk hits! Put on some dark heavy make up and do all of the tacky prom things you always wished you could do YOUR OWN WAY! You can slow dance, take prom portraits, and party to screamo while lusting over the person on the other side of the dancefloor!
