It's May the 4th! Star Wars fans around the world are celebrating the hit space epic and franchise. 

Except for the prequels. No one is celebrating the prequels.

Sure, you can pay tribute to the series yourself, at home, traditionally in a basement, but seriously, you don't have to.

Celebrate yourself right here in NYC, with plenty of screenings, intergalactic fun, and more.

1. New York Philharmonic's "Star Wars" Concert Series Ticket Giveaway

For die-hard fans, who also love free stuff, head over to the Philharmonic's David Geffen Hall Box Office at Lincoln Center at 8 a.m. when it opens.

To celebrate, the Philharmonic has set up a raffle for the chance to win a pair of free tickets for early access to their "Star Wars" concert of your choice. The winner will be announced at 10 a.m.

The first 20 fans in costume get some official "Star Wars" merch and collectible vinyl. But the Philharmonic asks to "please leave your blasters at home."

2. $4 Screening of "The Force Awakens" and "Rogue One" in Bushwick's Syndicated

Grab a drink and a seat at this Brooklyn bar, theater and kitchen at 40 Bogart Street to see J.J. Abram's "Star Wars : The Force Awakens for just $4 tonight at 6:30 and 9:30. 

On Friday night at 6 and 8:45 the bar you can catch Star Wars: Rogue One for $4.


3. Free Stars Wars: The Force Awakens Outdoor Screening at Rockefeller Park

Get to Rockefeller Park at 7 p.m. for a spot on the grass for this recent Star Wars addition.


4. Gemini + Scorpio Stars Wars: The Force Awakens Free Screening

Head to Gemini + Scorpio Douglas Street in Gowanus for a free showing of this chapter and Rogue One at 7:30 p.m. The suggested donation is $10.


5. Five Rounds of Star Wars Day Trivia at Manhattan's Stone Creek Bar and Lounge

Jog your memory of all Star Wars info. for this fun event at 140 East 27th Street at 8 p.m. Reserve your team's free tickets on EventBright and don your best Star Wars costume.


6. BowlMor Lanes May the 4th Laser Tag

BowlMor Lanes has the entire galactic experience for you at their the May the 4th Galactic Laser Tag.

This bowling alley at Chelsea Piers will host the event tonight for $20 at the door. Advance tickets are $15.


7. Sidewalk Café, 94 Avenue A, Manhattan Star Wars Game and Comedy Night

Meet Match Game NYC and hosts Chris Calogero and Tiffancy Lee for a night of space comedy with Omar Nieve Capra, “the beauty and the beast of burlesque” Bunny Buxomm and “the four-eyed devil of nerdcore hip hop” Schaffer the Darklord. 

Play Match Game NYC's fill in the blank game to win cool Star Wars prize packs and a chance to win door prizes.

Although the event is free, purchase of one drink or food item is required.


8. Ten Bones Theatre Presents Entirely From Memory - “Star Wars”: A New Hope

Go to The Striker at 123 E. 24th Street, Flatiron at 8 p.m. For a $10 ticket, you can watch hilarity as the company will cast the show "blindly," incorporate audience-written lines and deal with many wildcards.

Stay after the show for the company's musical parody Star Wars: The Farce Awakens at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $15.


9. Star Wars Comedy and Trivia at Laugh it up, Astoria! at Q.E.D.

At Astoria's Q.E.D., “an after-school space for grown-ups,” on 27-16 23rd Avenue, you can enter a Star Wars trivia match starting at 9 p.m. Also, laugh along to the best jokes from a lineup of hilarious comedians, including Shalewa Sharpe, Erica Bradshaw, Marc Gerber and Brian McGuinness.
