The Mad Decent Block Party tour is returning this year from July to October, with two dates in Brooklyn.
The North American tour presented by Diplo's Mad Decent label will stop in 13 cities for 15 shows. That's two more shows than cities.
Of course, New York City is the only city with two dates in it, August 6th and 7th. Take that, America!
The tour dates, locations, and lineups have all been announced!
We totally thought Jack U, who was featured on Bieber's "Where Are Ü Now," would be there and possibly show up with the Biebs, but, alas, no such luck.
Instead we got the likes of several different party monsters on the two-day stay.
August 6th will feature Diplo, FKi IST, Gryffin (DJ), Tory Lanez and more TBA; and NYC day 2 has Big Wild, Boi-1da, Boombox Cartel, Party Khan, Zeds Dead, Ke$ha (who, apart from a surprise mention at a Ben Folds show at Beacon, has a handful of live dates this year, following her surprise Coachella appearance).
Why so big on special K, though? You might have forgotten the ugly court battle with her producer Dr. Drew who she alleges sexually abused her while they were in a relationship, both professionally and romantically.
While we're still not satisfied with the garbage fire that has been these legal proceedings, we're stoked that Ke$ha's getting back on her feet. New music soon? Who knows, but these shows are going to be lit.
