If you're a frequent Macy's shopper,  you may have another go-to spot to kick back after a full day of shopping, TimeOut NY reported.

After searching for the best deals and waiting on long lines just to buy your trendy finds, you're going to need a little pick-me-up before lugging all of your new goodies home.

Macy's Herald Square is in talks to jump on the rooftop space bandwagon with its very own urban escape.

In order to put all of the space on top of the 116 year-old building to good use, the plan includes opening restaurants and adding a garden with benches and trees.

Those are going to be some serious views.

Macy's Herald Square is also trying to get its shoppers to venture to the upper floors that are less-frequented.

With Macy's' dropping sales and recent store closures across the country, this could be an effort to regain its popularity and foot traffic.

Shoppers and visitors to the world's largest department store now have another reason to walk through its endless maze of floors after its annual flower show, Thanksgiving Day parade and July 4 fireworks show.

This sounds like a pretty good way to get back on the map this summer by making everyone's tummies happy.
