While we are waiting for Mother Nature to get off her booze and regulate, we in New York have to deal with crazy weather this week. Around 70 degrees on Wednesday and plummeting to 30 degrees on Friday?
It’s enough to make us want a drink. Or two. And medicine, because we can get sick very easily. But if you want to drink away the chills when it’s actually warmer, mark your calendar.
La Nuit en Rosé will be setting sail on the Hudson River to celebrate their fourth rosé wine festival this May. So you can get your pink booze on.
And yes, the theme of the event is “pink chic”. What else would you expect?
According to TimeOut NY, this year’s event will take place May 18-20. Bear in mind that May weather will be warmer and less unpredictable than now so that bubbly doesn’t come with the chills we currently have.
On the yacht, the Hornblower Infinity yacht to be exact, there will be over 100 types of rosé wines available to sample for general admission.
There’s also live entertainment, DJs, and lots of rose pink themed foods from 30 local restaurants. That includes a cheese bar, mini croque-monsieurs, mini quiches and pink AF rosé popcorn!

Plus, this year a pizza lounge and a pasta & risotto lounge proving rosé is also part of the package.
So...unlimited booze and food with music on the Hudson and New York City as the backdrop for some serious Instagram potential? Sounds like a perfect way to celebrate the spring weather when Mother nature sobers up.
And then we don't have to be reminded of global warming and go back to thinking it's a myth till it snows in July or something. Back to the bubbly! You can get the tickets here before they sell out, along with VIP tickets for a longer ride and access to even more delicious food.
Oh and there’s a dress code: pink chic.
So rock your best pink, hot pink, coral, salmon, rosy finch or baby pink outfit and have some bubbly fun this spring!
