It is time for sunscreen, cocktails, and bar food!
New Yorkers are hunting for a new watering hole to gather near (one with bubbly and scenic vantage points). Le Meridien's latest sky-high gem, Life Rooftop, offers all that and more!
As a trendy lounge and terrace atop the Le Meridien hotel in midtown, it offers two bars serving a variety of enticing cocktails and a view. What makes this location extremely special though, is the menu Executive Chef Anastacia Song has crafted for the venue both at Life Rooftop and Japanese Restaurant & Bar Kumi.
The tantalizing bar menu includes a variety of artistically crafted cocktails perfect for those who do and don't drink alcohol as well as bottle service alternatives for special occasions. One of their notorious drinks, the Rope Hanger Punch pitcher made with Veuve Cliquot Champagne, Rum, Grand Marnier, and Lime, comes topped off with flowers and a bottle of submerged bubbly.
The menu of Executive Chef Anastacia Song includes salty and chewy cured meats and crumbly or creamy cheeses, as well as doughy and delicious pub pretzels, crisp cajun spiced wings, and savory everything bagel pigs in a blanket. One of their must-try items, the Beef Sliders, arrive topped with Lafrieda Blend, Cheddar, Bibb, and Roma Tomato, on a Martin’s Potato Roll.
Anastacia Song is a New York native who transitioned from medicine to the hotel industry, starting her career as a bartender. After training under Chef Harold Moore at Commerce in Jersey City, she obtained positions at Martha in Fort Greene and Treehaus in Midtown. Finally, she gained leadership at Kumi in the lower portion of Le Meridien.
Thanks to her expertise, her compact delicacies are currently accessible on the Life Rooftop.
