. Auto Ads scans the DOM when this script executes and picks placements from what it finds. From 2021 until 2026-08-16 this tag sat on the last line before , so it ran after the page had rendered and found far fewer slots — 508 impressions against 643 pageviews, roughly 0.8 ads per view. There are no units anywhere in this app, so Auto Ads is the ONLY thing serving ads. Placement itself is controlled in the AdSense UI (Ads > By site), not here — this tag just has to load early. -->

Okay, so all you need to know right now is, FREE DONUTS. A combination of our two favorite things. Free and donuts.

We feel so #blessed.

If you haven't been around a Krispy Kreme in previous years, the company has an affinity for International Talk Like a Pirate Day.

So if you show up to a participating location and talk like a pirate, on Monday, September 19th, when this very important holiday is being celebrated, you will receive one free Original Glazed donut.

Hold up though, if you roll in dressed  like a pirate, according to Thrillist, you'll get a whole dozen Original Glazed donuts. You don't even have to make a prerequisite purchase or anything.

Holy sh*t! Or well, shiver me timbers!

Heads up, there are a few rules to distinguish whether or not one qualifies as "dressing like a pirate," which include that you must be wearing at least three pirate items.

So break out your trusty pirate hat, eyepatch, or bandana– and please, use common sense and do not bring any weapons into a Krispy Kreme.

More welcome news, if you don't actually have any qualifying pirate apparel, is that Krispy Kreme has a new custom pirate filter on Snapchat.

If you "digitally 'dress' like a pirate," then snap a pic and show it to the peeps at the counter, those free donuts are still yours for the plunderin'.

Now go, dust off your ruffliest white shirt, and brush up on your pirate. Yarrr?

....K, we will go practice, too.
