Multi-platinum, two-time GRAMMY-nominee K.Flay has returned with “Perfectly Alone (softer version)” and “Barsoap (softer version),” reimagined from her upcoming EP I’m Making Friends With The Silence, set to release on November 12 via Giant Music. This EP reworks six tracks from her 2023 album MONO, stripping them down to a gentler, more introspective sound.

Following her October 15 release of “Punisher (softer version)” and “Carsick (softer version),” these tracks reveal an evolution in K.Flay’s artistic journey. Inspired by her experience with single-sided deafness and tinnitus, K.Flay collaborated with Nashville-based producer Lonas to create a sound that embraces subtlety and intimacy. The EP invites fans into an acoustic experience that highlights K.Flay’s lyrical depth. Alongside this release, K.Flay has announced a North American headline tour kicking off February 24, 2025, in Sacramento, California, and concluding March 29 in Los Angeles. K.Flay will perform in New York over two evenings, with shows at the Town Ballroom in Buffalo on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, and at Irving Plaza in New York City on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. With her genre-defying career and over 1 billion streams, K.Flay’s latest work underscores her enduring commitment to innovation and self-reflection in her music.
