Yesterday JetBlue cut the cost of admission to One World Trade by 20%. Yesterday, we implored JetBlue to cut the price of admission One World Trade's observatory by more if they really wanted to be New York's hometown airline.

Today, they've made an announcement that, in our minds, grants them the right to their self-proclaimed title.

Through January 6th, if you book JetBlue for a flight  between January 13th and April 13th, 2016, it can cost as little as $49.

Okay, we'll get specific with it. If you buy a flight with JetBlue out of JFK between January 13th and February 11th 2016, the deals are extreme.

With this deal, flying from JFK to Raleigh-Durham North Carolina costs $49. Flying from JFK to Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, or Daytona Beach Florida costs $89.

You can fly to Charleston, South Carolina or Savannah, Georgia for $59. Flights to Washington, D.C. and Portland, Maine cost $74, and flying to Reno/Tahoe, Nevada and Albuquerque, New Mexico cost $99.

JetBlue is hitting us with these deals at a very good time seeing as the temperature in New York City just hit twenty million degrees below freezing.

We're pretty sure it's now the coldest it's ever been in NYC. Okay, so maybe not, but getting out of the city for some rays in Daytona Beach or Fort Lauderdale definitely doesn't seem like a bad idea.

Portland, Maine is attractive for those who want more cold; for those who love snowshoeing and ice skating and are tired of NYC's endless seas of concrete.

The deal isn't relegated solely to JFK. Flights out of LaGuardia to Fort Lauderdale also cost $89. It costs $99 to fly from LaGuardia to Tampa, Fort Myers, and Sarasota Bradenton, Florida.

Finally, flights to West Palm Beach with JetBlue's hot new deal cost a very slim $149, and flights to Orlando, Florida cost $129.

Actually, you don't even have to take our word for it. You can check out the deals for yourself.

You know you want to get out of the city as it swirls into its swirling, dark, depressing January abyss. JetBlue has just made that decision infinitely easier.

JetBlue, we raise our hats to you for this very enticing deal (which is saying something. Our heads are cold). Thank you for proving yourselves truly worthy of your claim to fame: New York's hometown airline.
