You don't need a Golden Ticket to get into this chocolate museum!

World famous chocolatier Willy Wonka— wait sorry, we mean Jacques Torres— will be opening a sweet new museum dedicated to God's greatest gift to humanity: chocolate.

Choco-Story New York, The Chocolate Museum and Experience with Jacques Torres, opens as a permanent fixture in Torres' SoHo chocolate shop next week.

We wonder if this Chocolate Museum is going to be anything like the v. insta-worthy Museum of Ice Cream, which opened in the West Village last summer.

This may be New York's first chocolate museum, but it's not the first museum dedicated to all things cocoa. Obviously there is one in Hershey, PA, the home of Milton Hershey's chocolate factory and Hershey Park (low key live for the Chocolate Ride in Chocolate World tho).

There is a museum in Canada in an old Ganong candy factory featuring hands-on exhibits, and antique candy making machines.

Actually, there is a chain of Choco-Story museums around the world, including the original in Belgium, and others in Mexico and Paris, but we don't yet know if the NYC location is connected.

OMG perfect date idea: check out the chocolate museum, then go see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on Broadway

We hope there will be a lot of mops at this museum because we plan on drooling all over the floor.
