Amy Schumer has been pretty busy lately.
Schumer has had to keep things all smiles and laughs as she began her first ever book tour for her recently released foray into the literary world, The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo.
Added on to the stress of a packed tour, Schumer now has to deal with the backlash she has been receiving after one of her writers for Inside Amy Schumer went on an insensitive rant all over social media.
Kurt Metzger, a writer and stand-up comedian, took to social media to express his annoyance with a situation in which many women came out and accused another comedian of rape.
The accusations led to the comedian being banned from UCB, an act which Metzger called "mob justice."
Long story short: Metzger doesn't believe any of these rape victims, and is pretty pissed that his buddy got kicked out of UCB.
What Metzger wants is more proof that these rapes actually happened.

It goes without saying that this is a major dick move dangerously close (or completely over the line) to victim shaming, and people are (rightfully) pissed.
Fans placed a lot of pressure on Schumer to give her thoughts on the situation, given her personal and professional relationship with Metzger.
He is really eager to clear his name, so if you're interested, check out the most recent edition of Race Wars.
In the end, Schumer expressed her disappointment in Metzger and his actions, and also dropped a bomb on Inside Amy Schumer fans.
Schumer tweeted that Metzger was no longer a writer for the show, but later clarified that he wasn't fired, but that there are currently no writers for the show because... there is no show.
Say what?
Obviously, fans panicked, thinking that their favorite Comedy Central sketch show was cancelled, but Schumer was quick to clarify.
Seeing as how she's been busy with her book release and tour, Schumer has decided to place season five of the series on hiatus so that she can focus on her other professional endeavors.

Comedy Central has offered them the option of a fifth season, but we definitely won't be seeing it anytime soon.
For unknown reasons, Schumer went on to cancel her Long Island book signing, book entitled The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo (DOPE NAME), and possibly a Sirius appearance. Our guess? Girl's under way too much pressure right now.
In the meantime, Metzger is still being an enormous dick on all social media channels, calling his haters "lynch mobs."
Hopefully he'll run himself dry by the end of the day, but we can only hope.
