We all know that Goop has made us wary of beauty and healing products.

Exhibit A: healing stickers. Really? HEALING STICKERS?!

But, according to Time Out NY, this new healing and therapeutic product, which has been trending for some time now, may be able change our minds. And that's a big MAYBE.

Montauk Salt Cave is bringing its Long Island-based salt room to 10th Street in NYC at the end of the summer.

Guests can schedule appointments to relax and benefit from the healing and therapeutic properties of the various elements in a Himalayan salt cave.

While we wait on the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America to officially endorse them,  it continues to be said that these pink salt rooms can heal respiratory, inflammatory, skin, and sinus issues.

That's when the old phrase, "Don't knock it 'til you try it," comes in.

But, you can also just go there for some much-needed r&r and an escape from the city and anxiety. Modrn Sanctuary is also jumping on the salt cave bandwagon. It just opened the Modrn Salt room in its NoMad location.

I'm just waiting for one person to be kicked out for licking the wall to test the saltiness.

I mean, maybe all that magnesium, calcium, iron and other magic elements can start doing wonders on your body even faster if you consume them directly.

Just an idea... but if it's wrong, then I didn't come up with it.
