When was the last time you went to a museum for fun, because you genuinely wanted to and not because someone forced you?

Hmmm, if you're having a hard time remembering or recalling the name of any museum for that matter, then you need to hear about this.

The wonderful MoMA will extend it's weekend hours for the rest of the year!

This means you can make more frequent visits to the museum as they stay open until 9 p.m. every Friday and Saturday until the end of the year. BOOYAAAA.

The MoMA is known for many of its famous exhibits and galleries, as well as new and intriguing art pieces that spark the imagination and ignite the mind.

For people that didn't visit the museum that much, MoMA extending their summer hours really helped to bring more traffic into the museum.

And because keeping the museum open later than normal went so well, they decided to keep weekend hours open later for the remainder of 2017.

We really urge you guys to take advantage of this opportunity, and to soak up as many museum hours as you possibly can before January!

themuseumofmodernart #MakingSpace closes August 13. Enjoy the the stunning work of women artists made between the end of World War II (1945) and the start of the Feminist movement (around 1968) during summer hours. The Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden will also be open until 9 p.m., as long as the weather isn't trash.

So make it a date! Plan to visit the museum with friends or family or both, but make sure have a damn good time. GOT IT?!
