New York City rent is ridiculously high.

Everyone feels it, and everyone struggles to survive it.

After some of these NYC troubles, which we all know only too well, our favorite hot-dog and and tropical-drink eatery was left to one measly location on the Upper East Side.

But Gray’s Papaya has made its comeback: they’re opening a new location at 612 Eighth Avenue by the end of this year!

This Gray’s will be by Times Square and the Port Authority Bus Terminal, which will bring in enough traffic to keep them up and running.

Probably enough to open some more locations, eh?

On the other hand, read that again: Times Square. Port Authority Bus Terminal.

Is that really somewhere you want to be?

They’ve signed a 20-year lease (#confidence), so they won’t be going anywhere for a while.
