It's basically the dream to continue summer activities in the Fall, especially since it usually stays warm preeetty later on in the year. #ClimateChange.
Lucky for you, Governors Island is staying opening until October, and we're 100% here for it.
Governors Island opened on May 1st, which was actually a month early, and now staying open even later.
With the island's hours extending into the fall, we know New Yorkers are excited and cant wait to visit during the spooky month of October.
Visit the popular island and look over New York's beautiful skyline, or visit the brand new seafood restaurant.
Governors Island has the best attractions this summer and we cant wait to see what it has to offer for the Fall.
One of them will be The Night of 1,000 Jack O' Lanterns, which is pretty self-explanatory, and we're psyched for the spooky sight.

The trees on the island will also be filled with colorful leaves, making the island as #FallGoals as possible. Is anyone else seriously craving a Pumpkin Spice Latte right now? Too soon?
Either way, we're psyched to have all the extra time to chill on Governors Island. Who knows, maybe next year, they'll stay open all year!
