All the more reason to shuffle your art-loving self down to Governors Island this Labor Day for the tenth year anniversary of the Governors Island Art Fair.
The entirely artist-run nonprofit has upped the game for cultural destinations, and includes artists from across the U.S. and international artists as far as Beijing, Ecuador, and Germany.
The installation features indoor and outdoor pieces ranging from sculpture to photography to paintings and more by over 100 artists from nearly 800 proposals through the nonprofit's open submissions.
These pieces are truly the best of the best from around the world and if you miss them you. will. have. regrets.

The pieces will be displayed across Colonels Row and in Liggett Hall for the very first time. Ferry rides to Governors Island are only $2 with rides on Saturdays and Sundays before 11:30 a.m. free so there's really no excuse not to be there.
The Governors Island Art Fair is open on weekends through October 1st, so get your art-loving self there before it's gone!
