So, yeah, we're still waiting for this Golden Girls cafe to open. But we're willing to be patient because um, we don't exactly have another option now, do we?

In the meantime, however, alleviate your Golden Girls nostalgia in another medium. Puppets!

Yup, you read that right, on October 3rd– tonight– That Golden Girls Show! - A Puppet Parody is opening only in NYC. Because, well, only in New York City.

Or, not actually only in NYC, creator Jonathan Rockefeller's has also staged other Golden Girls parody shows in Australia and Canada, where they were sold out and attracted rave reviews.

The show has a run time of 90 minutes, and, as reported by TimeOut, will feature our favorite four ladies talking it out over cheesecake.

Their website boasts that devoted fans will be satisfied, but first-timers will also be able to appreciate the show as an introduction to the beloved television series.

"From Sophia's get-rich-quick schemes, to Rose's tales from St Olaf, Blanche's insatiable hunt for men and the Fountain of Youth, to Dorothy's daily struggle make sense of her life, keeping her roommates in check--while fending off a certain, pesky ex-husband, once and for all."

That's welcome news because, we have to be honest, none of us have really watched The Golden Girls. It was before streaming! What were we supposed to do?
