The concert at the park is back at it again!

The Global Citizen Festival is reaching its fifth year on September 24th, working toward the ultimate goal of ending the world’s extreme poverty, with 14 years left on the clock.

Global Citizen is a gathering of people who all have the same goal in mind: giving back to the community.

The headline you’ll find on their site is, “People who want to learn about and take action on the world’s biggest challenges,” and that’s exactly what Global Citizens are doing.

Since its creation in 2012, Global Citizens have taken around 5 million actions, which means millions of tweets and emails to foreign ministers, millions of signatures on world-changing petitions, and millions of calls to US leaders― give or take a thousand.

All this world-changing deserves a festival, and, in a beautiful cycle, the festival helps to change the world.

The music lineup for the concert never ceases to impress us, with last year’s lineup featuring artists like Beyonce and Pearl Jam, to this year’s Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Selena Gomez, Ellie Goulding, and more.

Possibly even more exciting than the music appearances is the host crew, which includes Chelsea Handler and Neil Patrick Harris… need I say more?

Oh, and tickets are free.

All you need to do is take action. Their website offers a range of ways to earn points by helping forward the process of making the world good, and once you earn enough points you can enter their draw for festival tickets.

Some of the good deed point-earners that can be found on their site are: tweeting to foreign ministers demanding their leadership on education, signing petitions to support education for adolescent girls, and even Instagramming a photo of yourself with a book that changed your life.

I’m willing to bet you’ll never feel so good getting tickets to a concert. Take action now and earn your tickets today!
