Fresh Flavors Erupt at Lindens in Their New Harvest Menu

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lindens, the modern American restaurant nestled inside the Arlo SoHo, to delight in the Harvest Menu. The design of the space evoke the spirit of nature, even in the heart of the city, with warm woods, and an epic array of rustic flavors.

I visited for dinner with a group of friends, and we were both blown away by the freshness and creativity of the dishes. The menu at Lindens is truly seasonally driven, showcasing the best of what nature has to offer with a focus on local, sustainable ingredients. I love that their ethos centers around produce-forward dishes, and it was clear from the first bite that everything was carefully sourced and thoughtfully prepared. We started with a couple of appetizers, my favorites included the Beet Salad with Goat Cheese and Pistachio Pesto and the Honeycrisp Apple & Endive Salad with blue cheese and candied nuts, which was the perfect combination of sweet, savory, and a little crunch. Definitely a refreshing and seasonal choice. Of course, we had to dig into their fresh bread, accompanied by a seasonal Squash compound butter.

For our mains, we started with the Honey Nut Squash Ravioli with Pancetta and Brown Butter, and let me just say—wow. The ravioli was indulgent without being overly rich, and the brown butter gave it this nutty depth that had me savoring every bite. I ordered the Half Chicken with creamy garlic and vegetable salsa. We all agreed it was cooked to perfection, light yet full of flavor. The star of the evening was the N.Y Strip Steak with yukon potato soubise, chimichurri and chestnut crust.

Of course, no dinner is complete without dessert. We ordered the Pinot Noir Poached Pear - perfectly sweet and light, the baked Chocolate Chip Cookies, and Pecan Pie.

What really stood out about Lindens was not just the food, but the whole dining experience. It’s a place where you can truly relax and enjoy every moment—whether you’re savoring a drink at the bar, enjoying a leisurely dinner, or just soaking in the cozy ambiance. If you’re in the area and looking for a place that celebrates great, seasonal food in a comfortable yet elevated setting, I highly recommend giving Lindens a visit.
