Ever wanted to eat literally as many dumplings as physically possible? Ever thought you could get paid it?

If so, Chef One's 14th Annual Dumpling Eating Contest might be for you! 

This year's event will also be a part of the annual Atlantic Antic street fair, which will take over downtown Brooklyn for its 43rd year on Sunday, September 24th.

The festival, which runs from 12-6 pm and will cover over 10 blocks along Atlantic Avenue, will also feature tons of other events and performances spread over 8 stages and hundreds of Brooklyn-based vendors and artisans if Asian cuisine isn't to your palate.

24 males and 24 females will compete in separate categories to eat the most dumplings in a 2 minute time window. Winners in each category will receive a substantial $2,000 prize, a hefty $1,000 second place, or a respectable $500 third place.

 Unfortunately, registration and even a waiting list are currently full, but there's always next year! 

If you'd merely like to observe the gluttony and scope out your potential competition, this event is free to spectators. And if you're in the mood for some lower stakes munching, you're in luck- fresh and frozen dumplings will also be for sale from Chef One.
