Diverse & Delicious Modern Mexican Bites at Street Taco

If you're on the hunt for a place that blends bold flavors with an electric atmosphere - Street Taco should be at the top of your list. Nestled in the heart of the city, this vibrant taqueria and bar brings together the best of Mexican street food and the creative energy of the food truck scene. The moment you step inside, you’re transported into a world where custom VW food trucks, vibrant street art, and mouthwatering flavors take center stage.

One of the first things you'll notice is the incredible decor, including a custom VW food truck that doubles as the kitchen pass. As you settle in, take a moment to appreciate the stunning murals on the walls, created by iconic artists like Mike Rubendall of Kings Ave Tattoo and Nicole Salgar, whose Miami street art fame is well known. The setting is as bold and artistic as the food they serve, making for an unforgettable dining experience.

Our visit started with the fresh and flavorful Guacamole made with creamy avocado, lime, onion, cilantro, and a kick of jalapeño – perfect for dipping. For tacos, we went all-in with a variety of options, and each one was better than the last. The Birria Tacos were a standout, with braised short rib, melted jack cheese, pickled jalapeño, and onions, all served with consomé and two soft corn tortillas. The flavors were rich and satisfying, offering a true taste of Mexico.

To wash it all down, we tried a few of their signature margaritas, each more refreshing than the last. The Watermelon Margarita and the Caramelized Pineapple Margarita were fruity and vibrant, while the When in Cancun cocktail – a blend of tequila blanco, passionfruit, lime, and pineapple – was a perfect match for the spicy tacos.

We also tried the Chicken Tinga, a zesty combination of crema, cotija, onion, and cilantro, which was perfectly balanced. The Carne Asada taco with cilantro, onion, and salsa verde, was another classic that didn’t disappoint. But the taco selection didn’t stop there—other crowd favorites like Fried Shrimp, Blackened Fish, and Mushroom al Pastor (perfect for plant-based eaters) provided something for every taste. The Roasted Cauliflower taco was a highlight, with its smoky chipotle romesco salsa and crunchy almonds.

No visit to Street Taco would be complete without indulging in their signature street food dishes, like the irresistible Street Corn Pops – crispy corn kernels smothered in mayo, chili, and cotija cheese, topped off with a squeeze of lime. For dessert, we shared the Coconut Tres Leches , topped with whipped cream and toasted coconut, and the Churro Donuts , dusted with cinnamon sugar and served with spiced chocolate sauce.

A special treat to consider during your visit is Street Taco’s epic BYOB Sundays, where you can bring your own tequila for a bottle fee, and Street Taco will provide all the fixings – glasses, limes, and rim salt – so you can make margaritas just the way you like them. It’s a fun and unique twist that adds to the laidback, social vibe of this taqueria.

Whether you're swinging by for a quick bite or settling in for a laid-back evening with friends, Street Taco offers something for everyone. From the street art that decorates the space to the bold, delicious tacos and drinks, every aspect of Street Taco is designed to be a feast for the senses.
