And the award for Best Bar, not just in the United States, but the whole world goes to... The Dead Rabbit. Drinks all around!
Located in Manhattan's Financial District, The Dead Rabbit gracefully achieved the title after being dubbed runner-up for the past two years.
It took years but Dead Rabbit finally pulled ahead of London's Artesian to claim their very own, well deserved title. However, the fame comes as no surprise to The Dead Rabbit and really, was long overdue.
The bar seems to be receiving awards almost as frequently as the bartenders can whip up Horse's Necks, the brandy based drink that the bar is famous for.
Back in 2014, they received the title of World's Best Cocktail, after only a year of being in business. We'll drink to that!
Other NYC bars that made the list included, Attaboy, Employees Only, Nomad Bar, Maison Premiere, Mace, Dante, and PDT.
Congrats to the other nominees! New Yorkers are truly #blessed.

The owners of Dead Rabbit, Sean Muldoon and Jack McGarry, have been so grateful for the success of their bar.
"We feel an overriding sense of completion. We knew we were about to open something special and be our version of The World's Best Bar."
Anyway, it's Friday night! Grab your friends, preferably ones that enjoy brandy, and head downtown. Be sure to also check out Muldoon and McGarry's other bar, BlackTail, in Battery Park City!
