David Chang's Momofuku is pretty much a staple in NYC.

Between Fuku delivery through Caviar, Noodle Bar warming our souls on cold days like this, and Momofuku's Milk Bar simultaneously indulging our sweet tooth and ruining our New Year's resolutions, it's pretty essential to New Yorkers.

Brace yourselves, New Yorkers, because Momofuku's new venture at 232 Eighth Avenue in Chelsea has been shrouded in secrecy since their liquor license application in July. Until now.

Luckily, for those of us who are way too impatient to wait, we have some pretty crucial details about Chang's new spot.

Eater reported that this spot, which had previously been used for Fuku delivery services, has been hosting invite-only previews in the past few weeks, serving a mash of Korean and Italian-inspired dishes.

While rumors and lucky peeks through windows indicate that there may be long communal tables in the dining room, expectations are that this new joint will be a bit more costly than Noodle Bar.

Whatever the price, we're pretty excited to hear more about David Chang's new adventure, and you can count on us taking a seat at whatever comes of this Momofuku mystery.
