Guys, we hate to break it to you, but summer is almost over. Gone are the sweaty days at the beach, the (citronella filled) torch lit nights, and that bronze summer glow.

But rest assured, New York City still has some cool events in store for you.

One of our favorites is October, aka beer month, and it’s coming back this year with what may be the best Oktoberfests yet.

This year Oktoberfest is hitting the high seas! Or, at least, the Hudson.

Circle Line Sightseeing is upgrading its usual Dayline route to an Oktoberfest spectacular, where guests can take part in a two-and-a-half hour cruise up to Bear Mountain all while sampling and dining on classic German food and beer.

The Oktoberfest Cruise up the Hudson gives breathtaking views of New York’s natural beauty, and we’re willing to bet it’ll be even more beautiful with Bavarian pretzels, schnitzel, sauerkraut, wine, beer, and an endless amount of sandwiches and snacks.

Entertainment will be on board too, with German oom-pah and polka bands playing for cruisers. Once the cruise reaches Bear Mountain, it’ll stop for about three hours.

You’ll have the chance to explore over 50 trails where you hike and bike, visit the zoo, or take a boat out onto the lake.

Let’s see how much you can fit into three hours with a belly full of beer and bratwurst.
