New York City has some pretty breathtaking skyline views. We also have some pretty shifty weather, which compromises our ability to check out said views in the middle of the winter.
However, someone decided that the best way to drink outside without having to deal with the frigid temperatures was to create a big plastic bubble or igloo to encapsulate furniture and people on an outdoor patio on the 54th floor of a skyscraper.
Yep, you read that right. You can comfortably now sip $15 cocktails with some friends while living out every germaphobes' Bubble Boy fantasy.
While we're pretty sure that the views of the skyline will be slightly distorted through the material of the bubble, it's still a pretty cool concept.
The bubbles are located at Bar 54 at the Hyatt Times Square, with one situated on the eastern side of the patio and the other on the western.
Regardless, you'll still be able to see the Chrysler Building and Times Square from either of the bubbles.
Time Out reports that the bubbles are open every night except in extreme weather.

The bubbles have a two-drink minimum, but the bubbles book up fast, so you might want to consider making a reservation for your chance to live the bubble life.
