What could be more comforting (in our time of rampant political ignorance) than to be in a library, surrounded by literature and knowledge!?

Mark your calendars for one week after the worst Friday night of our lives.

According to TimeOut NY, on Saturday the 29th, the Brooklyn Public Library and the French Embassy are hosting a 12-hour night of Philosophy and Ideas.

From 7pm to 7am, there will be a plethora of debates, readings, screenings, and performances on the intersection of politics and philosophy.
