Who’s up for more food options?

Okay, that was a trick question, but we found out some exciting news about the Navy Yard that involves some more variety. You guessed it, more food!

A half-dozen local eateries and two kiosks will be opening in Navy Yard’s new food hall in 2017, joining Russ & Daughters and Brooklyn Brewery, according to DNAInfo.

We've mentioned the Navy Yard's renovation, the opening of Wegmans, Russ & Daughters, and the rooftop bar before, but we are so stoked about the other restaurants. Plus, that means more job opportunities in the area. Totally not going to snack during shifts, we promise.

We have the list right here! But we must warn you: it may make you suddenly be starving.

Brooklyn Greenery

Brooklyn Greenery will be opening its second outpost at Building 77, offering breakfast and lunch options like smoothies, salads, juices and acai bowls.

Rustik Tavern will open a restaurant and bar. The comfort-food restaurant will host regular community events through partnerships with local schools and nonprofits, the Navy Yard said.

The Food Sermon

Serving its signature Island Bowls, The Food Sermon fills them with savory stewed meats in coconut ginger and spicy tomato sauces. The restaurant will also sell its own brand of bottled hot sauces and teas at the Navy Yard.

Tiny Drumsticks will open a commissary that will be shared by local chefs and smaller food manufacturers.

We Rub You will be selling Korean specialties and condiments alongside its takeout menu, which includes Korean BBQ sliders.

Grandchamps will serve traditional Haitian breakfast and lunch options, as well as coffees and teas.

For the kiosks, Mast Brothers Chocolate and Brooklyn Roasting Company will be selling items like non-alcoholic chocolate beer and coffee products.

We can't wait for the food hall to open soon!
