Brooklynites, your floaties are a definite essential this summer!

Brooklyn Bridge Park is welcoming back its pop-up pool after neighborhood residents petitioned for its return.

Although we're nowhere near next year, a petition is already being started for the summer of 2018.

The petition may have been successful this year, but that doesn't change the fact that the pool is the size of my fist.

With the pop-up pool being 3.5 feet deep with a maximum of 60 swimmers at a time, it makes you second guess even wanting to go... but beggars can't be choosers! Especially with the type of sweltering heat we're expecting this summer.

They'll be officially opening the pool on June 29th, which isn't too far away now!

The hours are 10 a.m until 6 p.m. and swimmers will only be allowed to swim for 45 minutes each session. Check out the schedule and rules here.

We'd recommend getting there bright and early to snag your wristband.

Let's hope this pop up pool pops up every summer.
