Two of the greatest things in life you'll ever know are free food and birthdays. 

Now, that's not in any particular order, and each has their own tradeoff: sh*tty free food is still sh*tty, and birthdays are really only fun until you hit 30. 

But really, who doesn't love free food, especially at birthday parties? You're right. Nobody. 

City Kitchen and the Row NYC hotel are throwing a bash for their first birthday this Thursday, March 31st from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

It's free and open to the public. 

But back to the trade-offs: the birthday falls well below that statute of limitations, and the food, well, the food is dope. 

They'll be offering free morsels of their most popular dishes like tacos from Gabriela's, sliders from Whitman's, shrimp rolls from Luke's Lobster, sushi from Azuki, and doughnut holes from Dough for dessert. 

But what's a birthday without entertainment?

The 4,000 square-foot location in Hell's Kitchen will host a variety of performers including a magician, jugglers, and a DJ.
