Get your metro card ready because you're going to want to boogie down to the Bronx real soon.

The man behind the world's best restaurant is setting up shop in the Bronx sometime next year.

Massimo Bottura, the man behind the Italian restaurant in Modena, Italy, is currently considered the best Chef in the world.

Osteria Francescana tops the list of the The World's 50 Best Restaurants, with a couple of NYC spots also snagging top slots.

You may also recognize Bottura from the first ever episode of the Netflix series Chef's Table.

Bottura revealed that his next big plan is a "dining hall" in the Bronx.

The dining hall is expected to open sometime next year, though we're hoping it doesn't suffer the same fate as Anthony Bourdain's food hall, which is constantly being delayed.

Bottura is not only known for his skills in the kitchen, but also for his dedication to combating hunger and food waste across the globe.

After teaming up with several other notable names in the culinary world, Bottura reinvented an abandoned Italian theatre into a soup kitchen.

Bottura plans to take similar action in Rio, with the soup kitchen serving all leftover food from the upcoming Olympics.

While no official details on this Bronx dining hall have been released, it's likely that Bottura's latest project will have some kind of charitable aspect to it, and that's a plan we can definitely get behind.
