You might have noticed that it's more than beginning to look a lot like Christmas here in New York City.
With the chillier temperatures also comes some unique holiday markets, beautiful decorations, and other holiday festivities.
This week, carvers from Okamoto Studio are showcasing some amazing ice sculptures in Grace Plaza in Midtown (6th Avenue, between 42nd and 43rd Street).
The creations, which depict a number of safari animals like zebras, tigers, and gazelles, were carved live yesterday afternoon and today, in front of a live audience.
Even if you missed out on the action, as reported by TimeOut NY, the sculptures are still on display now.
So check out some of the pics below, but make sure you stop by Grace Plaza, where they'll stay before they all melt.
Their lifespan might be helped out a little by the polar vortex passing through NYC this week, but we'd still recommend heading over sooner rather than later!
