As of late, it's a topic of hot discussion in New York City, with restaurants left and right ending it altogether.
So when Amy Schumer hit the town last night for Broadway's Hamilton and left a $1,000 tip on her $77 bill for the bartenders, you know it was bound to make headlines, right? Right.

Bartender Madeleine DeJohn posted the receipt below on her Instagram... and although this is definitely not the first or last case of celebs leaving a healthy tip for NYC servers, this is definitely our most favorite. Like ever.
