What a time to be a Star Wars fan!

The Alamo Drafthouse is a popular Austin-based movie/restaurant chain whose downtown Brooklyn location has been highly anticipated.

Now, we're even more pumped.

Alamo Drafthouse recently announced that they are planning on screening all three of the original Star Wars movies on their premium screens in locations throughout the country.

While the Alamo Drafthouse's Brooklyn location isn't quite ready just yet, New York is still on the list of places where you can get in on this awesome event.

On Sunday, August 7th at 2 p.m you can watch A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi, all back-to-back, at Kings Theatre in Flatbush.

The Alamo Drafthouse is known for its signature movie screening events, like this Star Wars screening, so this has only made us even more excited for their official Brooklyn location to open up.

The Brooklyn location will feature seven movie screens playing both the latest Hollywood releases, and some indie releases.

Much like Brooklyn favorite, the Nitehawk Cinema, the Alamo Drafthouse will feature a wide menu of food and drinks (including a brussels sprout, smoked bacon, and goat cheese pizza that we're dying to try) that will be brought to you during the film.

If you've never tried a dine-in theatre, the Alamo Drafthouse should definitely be your first.
