2. DAYBREAKER Boat Party
This Friday DAYBREAKER is taking their parties to a whole new level – and to the high seas.
This time they're paying homage to one of the most classic songs of all time and an epically zany historic era. They’re taking it back to 1960’s Britain with a Yellow Submarine party on the Hornblower Infinity for what will surely be the most unforgettable and whimsical morning of your summer.

3. Coney Island Firework Party
This is the best kind of reason to head down to the boardwalk.
The party aspect of this event starts up at the Madison Square Tavern, where you’ll be given a pair of LED headphones that’ll allow you to tune in to one of two different music channels.
From there you’ll groove and jam with your fellow party goers down to the Coney Island boardwalk as a part of one of the coolest silent parties around. Tickets to this event are limited, so be sure to grab them here now if you want to get in on the fun.

4. Pokemon Go event at Turnstyle
If you're a Pokemon Go enthusiast, you seriously should not be missing this event.
TurnStyle is teaming up with Geekscape's Jonathan London to bring Pokemon to life in the New York City streets. The Pokemon experience will feature giveaways, music, and discounts from TurnStyle's retailers and restaurants.
Players who show up to the event will get to meet new people, exchange tips and tricks, and improve their skills while learning from the experts.
Oh, the big thing: they're going to have 20 limited-edition Pokemon cards from the 90s available for purchase, and there's no way mom and dad are throwing them in the trash THIS time.

5. Summer Streets
NYC is closing 7 miles of Park Avenue to Lafayette Street to cars so that city dwellers have the opportunity to play, run, walk, dance, and bike carefree.
You can expect the place to be packed with food, drinks, and activities at every corner. But really, there's even a rock climbing wall.

Harry Potter fans are livin’ it up this summer. Pottercon is a day filled with themed day drinks and meeting your new favorite witches and wizards while bonding over your love for all things Harry Potter.
If you’re still iffy about what Hogwarts house you’re in, take part in the live sorting ceremony. Or if you decided to roll up to this event in your best wizarding gear, join the costume contest for a chance at fame (and maybe fortune).

7. Bed Stuy Music Festival
Head over to Brooklyn this weekend and celebrate the home of artists such as Jay-Z, Biggie Smalls, Do the Right Thing, and so many more. Bedford Stuyvesant is celebrating these iconic figures by hosting a music festival on Saturday night.
With a can't-miss lineup of famous musicians as well as up and coming artists, food, and lots of fun, this is an event you just can't miss. Let your body move to the beat as you experience everything from Jazz, Hip Hop, and Rock.

Brooklyn’s Mad Decent Block Party is back for its eighth year and it’s better than ever. This two day concert event is going down at Brooklyn’s MCU Park and has a pretty killer lineup.
August 7th will be featuring Diplo, and Tory Lanez, amongst others, while August 8th has Kesha, and Boombox Cartel taking the stage.
