Remember the beautiful weather we had last weekend? 

We hope you took advantage of it because it was absolutely gorgeous. 

Unfortunately, we can't promise the same amount of sunshine and heat this weekend, but it'll certainly still be a fine spring weekend.

Thursday, April 21st

I am Nepal (Rogue Space Chelsea - 508 West 26th Street)

In support of the children affected by the earthquake that shook Nepal last April, Rogue Space Chelsea is hosting their 7th of the Rogue Foundation's benefits for children in need through art. 

The Rogue Foundation gives art supplies to children in war-torn or disaster hit areas, giving them a space to express themselves with the hopes that the art will aide in the healing process.

I Am Nepal features art was created by the Mother and Children Art Foundation in Kathmandu, and Artudio in the Dolackha region. 100% of the proceeds from the event, including from the purchase of the art, will be donated to the children to support their educations.

Tax Day Underwear Party (The West End - 955 West End Avenue)


Whether Uncle Sam taxed your pants off or you got so much back you want to dance around naked, both are a fantastic reason to come out and drink! 

The West End Lounge hosts the Tax Day Underwear Party, a scandalous night where you don’t have to get in your undies to have fun, but it sure ‘do help! 

It's just $5 before midnight with free clothes check, and $6 for guys who strip to their skivvies, so break out your MeUndies (we definitely will).


Friday, April 22nd

This Friday, April 22nd, celebrate Earth Day by going carless on Broadway from the Flatiron Building from East 23rd Street to Union Square at East 17th Street. Carless areas will also be from Wadsworth Avenue from 173rd to 177th Streets in Washington Heights.

Want to simply take in the beauty of Mother Earth? Head to the West Side Community Garden for a celebration of one of the most underrated flowers in the city: the tulip. At this community garden, there are nearly 13,000 unique tulips, spring flowers, and blooming trees. Best part? It's free.

"TwoForTheRoad" (15 West 27th Street)

What do you get when you combine a daredevil photographer and an absolutely brilliant producer? You get this amazing time lapse experience, entitled "TwoForTheRoad," from @ChasingRooftops and Rodney Hazard, presented by Digital Dumbo. 

The event is going down at Madison Square Portfolio in Chelsea on April 22nd beginning at 6:30 p.m. The time lapse experience will combine fresh beats scored by Rodney Hazard set to incredible footage from @ChasingRooftops (aka, Patrick Castillo).

Saturday, April 23rd

Festival of Colors: Holi NYC2016 (485 Johnson Avenue - Brooklyn)


This Saturday, dress yourself in all white or light colors, and head to the celebration of the festival of colors, with your ticket to spend the day getting messy using colored powders, and dancing the day away to live bands and DJs.

Don't worry about bringing your own powder, as the event organizers will provide you with their own (it's only cornstarch and food dye), but prepare yourself with sunglasses or a bandana to protect your mouth and eyes. Or, just go out and get dirty. 


Friday and Saturday

Bacon & Beer Classic (Citi Field)

If you were lucky enough to score a ticket to the Bacon and Beer Classic on Saturday, April 23rd, you're one of the lucky ones. 

Haven't gotten your tickets yet? Don't fret. 

While you can't get one for Saturday (unless you go through some back alley transaction), you can still purchase your tickets for the Friday evening session from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., or their VIP ticket from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Grab your tickets before they're gone, too!

NYC Hot Sauce Expo (79 Franklin Street - Brooklyn)

Do you like it hot? We hear pray tell that some do in fact, like it hot. In fact, we've heard that some drop it like it hot. If you're any of these kinds of people, you need to check out the fourth annual Hot Sauce Expo going down at the Brooklyn EXPO Center on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Whether you're dead set on eating wings, pizza, or even spicy meatballs, there's something for everyone. More of a liquid diet fan? They'll be serving up incredible Bloody Marys, and other beverages to cleanse your palate. 


Daffodil Celebration and Wine Weekend (2900 Southern Blvd. - the Bronx)


Who wants to drink local wine in a sea of daffodils? Sign us up! This weekend at the New York Botanical Garden, wineries from the state of New York will be heading to Daffodil Hill at the New York Botanical Garden to appreciate both the 150,000 daffodil bulbs in full bloom and  delicious wines. ]

Between talks and demonstrations about winemaking and viticulture, and of course plenty of tasting, enjoy a beautiful spring weekend in the sun with an All-Garden Pass which you can buy in advance here
